Well, after much planning, things are moving forward! We are forming an organization to further jazz performance & education in the greater Columbia, SC area. Our launch pad program Sunday Jazz at Senate's End takes place every Sunday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:00 featuring our resident ensemble Think Jazz Orchestra or a variety of Columbia's finest jazz musicians. Over time we will feature many of our Columbia school jazz bands and offer clinic/workshops to help our young aspiring jazz musicians. There will be variety in style, musicians and presentation to keep things fresh and exciting for all. Plus our friends at Senate's End will be presenting a wonderful brunch starting at 10:30 am with kitchen closing at 3:00 pm.
We are in our infancy and many wonderful people are involved with our efforts.
